Altona Electorate Community Information. The communities of Altona, Altona Meadows, Altona North, Hoppers Crossing, Laverton, Laverton North, Point Cook, Sanctuary Lakes, Seabrook and Truganina are exciting rich and diverse. These make up the community of the Altona Electorate. Within this multicultural community are many groups, clubs and organizations that reflect the vibrant and exciting atmosphere of the Altona Electorate. At the top of this page you will find several links that will assist the communities of Altona in several different areas. community groups: I have created a list of community groups within the Altona Electorate. If you have an interest in finding out more information about local community groups, or would like to add your community group to our list, please contact a member of staff at this office. services: The services page is designed to give you a brief overview of some of the various services available to members of the Altona Electorate. grant info: If you are a member of a sporting group, organization or club you may be eligible for assistance in the form of grants. There are quite a number of grants aimed at supporting local groups. If you need a grant or require further information about a given grant, please feel free to contact this office. acknowledgments (to be implemented shortly): Often I get information regarding special citizens who have achieved milestones in their life such as a 100th Birthday, or perhaps they have won an achievement award.
