Lynne has a long and continuing association with the western suburbs of Melbourne, completing her primary and secondary schooling in the western region. After graduating from Social Work at Melbourne University in 1980, Lynne established a long history as a community leader and became a passionate advocate for Melbourne's west. Lynne has two children and is married to Jim. They live in the west of Melbourne where the children are enrolled in state schools.
